Located on a 2.88-acre parcel in the heart of the Metzger neighborhood within the Washington Square District, Terrace Glen Apartments is an affordable, intergenerational development with two four-story buildings spanning 151,400 square feet and holding 144 units of wood-framed, slab-on-grade apartments with floorplans from studio up to four-bedrooms. Three units have been designated as Permanent Support Housing (PSH) for homeless youth between 18 and 24 years of age. The development is formed around an inner courtyard with a playground and barbeque area. Surrounding the courtyard are common area amenities, including a community room with kitchen, teen lounge, art space, shared laundry, and 142 parking spaces for cars, along with bicycle storage.
Onsite services are being provided by The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO), EngAGE, a local nonprofit which provides arts education to a multi-generational population, and HomePlate catering to the 18-24 year-old age group.
