The Salish Landing redevelopment in West Seattle’s Delridge neighborhood includes a mix of 82 one-, two-, and three-bedroom affordable housing units, a community space, and 65 parking spaces. This 87,000 SF building is a replacement to the original building that was demolished due to fire damage and will now offer residents 30 additional family-sized units, 80 on-site parking spaces, and safe, family-oriented outdoor amenities. Built to mitigate poor soil conditions on-site, the project’s foundation is noteworthy with 155 auger-cast piles under-grade beams accompanied by a structural slab-on-grade.
