Portland Community College’s Southeast Campus expansion was performed by OWCB, a partnership between O’Neil Electric and WALSH founded in 2011. The expanded campus has two new buildings – a student commons and library – that includes the bookstore, tutoring center, the Women’s Resource Center, a Multicultural Center, and new science and computer labs. The Southeast Campus has more than doubled its size from 94,000 to 200,000 square-feet with each building, housing active ground floor commercial space to better integrate and serve the college and surrounding community. The 60,000 square-feet Student Commons houses an expanded bookstore, an Answer Center for student services, five science labs, six general purpose classrooms, four computer classrooms and a new STEM center.
